Fanta Comes To Thorpe Park Fright Night

Fright Night at Thorpe Park is actually 4 weeks of halloween themed fun, scaring guests into the night. This year, Fanta provided a photo booth experience and we committed to make it stand out in an already fun packed venue.

We devised the concept from scratch, creating a cast of memorable characters inspired by the New Orleans Boulevard in Thorpe Park.

The photo booth centred on Madam Fantam – a fortune teller who trades wishes for bottles of Fanta – don’t enter without one or you could end up cursed.

Three of her vistims were the Hobo, The Usherette and the Techician. Each has their own sad story and are destined to walk the Boulevard for eternity.

The star of the build was our 2m LED digital sphere. Standing directly opposite the photo booth, it stopped people in their tracks with its spook swirling images and symbols.  Specially programmed digital images of the various characters told their stories. For those wanting more detail, out digital totems lined the queue, explaining back stories and occasionally making everyone jump with an ear piercing ghostly scream.

Our digital content team did an amazing job of bringing the concept to life, and both Merlin, (Thorpe park parent company) and Fanta were delighted with the finish product.
